Best Practices

Writing Effective Primary Texts

Do:

  • Start with a hook or benefit
  • Include a clear call-to-action
  • Mention offers or discounts
  • Keep it conversational
  • Use 2-3 sentences

Don't:

  • Write long paragraphs (150-200 characters ideal)
  • Use excessive punctuation!!!
  • Make claims you can't back up
  • Forget the call-to-action

Example - Good Primary Text:

"Tired of spending hours on Facebook Ads? Lix.so lets you create complete campaigns in 3 minutes. Upload your creatives in bulk, choose a template, and launch. Try it free today!"

Writing Effective Headlines

Do:

  • Keep it short (5-10 words max)
  • Include the main benefit
  • Create urgency or curiosity
  • Use numbers when possible

Don't:

  • Be vague ("Click here")
  • Use clickbait without value
  • Exceed character limits (40 chars recommended)

Example - Good Headlines:

1. "Create FB Ads in 3 Minutes"
2. "Save 95% of Your Time"
3. "Batch Upload 100 Creatives"
4. "Templates You'll Reuse Forever"

Naming Convention

Use clear, descriptive template names:

Good Examples:

  • "Leadgen Summer 2024 - Discount 30%"
  • "Dropshipping Product - Problem-Solution"
  • "Agency - Client Onboarding"

Bad Examples:

  • "Template 1"
  • "Test"
  • "Copy"

Advanced: Dynamic Content

Testing Multiple Variations

Create templates with different messaging angles:

Template 1: "Pain Point Focus"

Primary Text: "Struggling with slow Facebook Ads creation? Stop wasting hours..."
Headline: "End Your FB Ads Frustration"

Template 2: "Benefit Focus"

Primary Text: "Create campaigns 10x faster with Lix.so. Batch upload..."
Headline: "10x Faster Campaign Creation"

Template 3: "Social Proof"

Primary Text: "Join 1,000+ marketers who save hours with Lix.so..."
Headline: "Trusted by 1,000+ Marketers"

A/B Testing Ad Copy

  1. Create 2-3 templates with different angles
  2. Use the same creatives
  3. Launch campaigns with each template
  4. Compare performance after 3-7 days
  5. Scale the winner

2. "No Credit Card Required"
3. "Join 10,000+ Happy Users"

Tips for Testing

Start with 3-4 Variations

Don't create too many at once. Test 3-4 primary texts and headlines to start.

Test One Element at a Time

  • Test different headlines with the same primary text
  • Then test different primary texts with the winning headline

Monitor Performance

Check which combination gets:

  • Highest CTR (Click-Through Rate)
  • Lowest CPC (Cost Per Click)
  • Best conversion rate

Iterate

Update your templates based on what works. Keep refining your messaging.
